In a microwave safe bowl add in your water and milk and heat in the microwave 30 second intervals till it reaches the temperature from 110 to 120. You don’t want it above 120 or it will kill your yeast.
Once your liquid has come to temp stir in your sugar, add in your yeast and let bloom for 10 minutes.
While that mixture is blooming add in half of your flour in the bottom of your bread machine. Also add in your butter and honey.
Once your yeast has bloomed add that in on top of the flour in the bread machine add in your remaining flour and top with salt. Try not to let the yeast and salt touch, because salt can kill your yeast and lead to tough, dense bread. Start your bread machine and set to dough cycle.
Once dough cycle is complete. Add a little flour to your working surface, so your dough doesn’t stick. You don’t want to over work your dough, take and flatten it out with your hands and starting from one end to the other rolling it up like a cinnamon roll. Once it’s rolled up pinch the seams and add it into a greased loaf pan seam side down and folding under your ends as you are putting it in your pan. This recipe makes one full size bread loaf or two smaller loafs.
Cover with a clean towel and let rise for 30 minutes.
While rising preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Once rose it’s ready to bake. Bake at 375 for 30-35 mins (full loaf) or 20-25 (half loafs). Or internal temperature of 190-200 for perfectly baked bread!
Once baked, take out of pan and cover with a clean towel and let cool completely. Store in air tight container or ziplock bag. If it even last that long!

Recipe Note: One package of yeast is 2¼ tsp.
