2. Place the pecans on a sheet pan. Cube butter into small pieces and place around the pecans. Roast for 1 hour, stirring and flipping every 15 minutes. Use your senses of smell and sight - they should have a rich pecan smell and somewhat deepen in color without any burning smell.
3. Remove from oven and sprinkle Cajun Spice Blend over the pecans and toss to evenly coat.
4. Allow to cool completely before removing from the sheet pan. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
